This page gives you ten more questions on the same idea as the lesson "Fractions in real life". Work through them at your own speed. Write your answer down or say it out loud before you open the answer box, so you give yourself a real chance to think.

  1. How many minutes are in 1/3 of an hour?

  2. What is 1/5 of $25?

  3. A recipe uses 3/4 teaspoon of cinnamon. You double the recipe. How much do you need?
