Grade 6 math

Grade 6 extends measurement into two and three dimensions. Perimeter, area and volume covers the distance around a polygon, area by counting squares, the area of rectangles, composite shapes, triangles and parallelograms, volume by counting cubes, the volume of rectangular prisms, and real-life area and volume problems. Data and graphs is a step back to tables, bar graphs and line plots for a steady review. Both courses are ready to use today, and they also work as a preview or a stretch for grades 3 to 5.
